A 2017 report from Child Trends that surveyed 47 states showed that in 75% of states foster youth leave the system before maximum age permitted and they are more likely to experience homelessness, involvement with justice system and high school or college dropout. This further solidifies PSF’s mission and commitment to support foster youth.
