FOSTER CARE MONTH IS COMING.National Foster Care Month is observed in the United States during the month of May every year. It began with President Ronald Reagan in 1988. Since 1988, National Foster Care Month continues to be recognized and celebrated.This year, Power to Soar Foundation is going to participate in a very special way. On February 26th, 2018, our president Vimal Srivastava, was invited to attend the Guardian Scholars Program reception at Sacramento State University to talk about the Power to Soar Foundation’s work and why do we support the program. Check the post here.

On March 18th, Nadine Suto, board member in PSF celebrate her birthday! She has been part of PSF since the very beginning and a great supporter of foster youth education! Thank you Nadine.

The Senate Education Committee, in an unanimous 5-0 vote, approved Senate Bill 940 (Beall), which will expand access to the Cal Grant for foster youth. Power to Soar Foundation supported the new legislation. To know more about it, access here.
